Sand Cave

I'll have more backstory on this later, but I wanted to go ahead and post a cool picture I took in Kentucky at Cumberland Gap Historical Park. This is Sand Cave, a cave with...well...lots of sand.

Phawesome oto!

Seriously, this is an incredible photo. After you left that great post on my brother's blog, I had to come back and check yours out again. This photo has some weird emotional effect, very moving.

The emotional impact is from the subject, framed perfectly in the light just beyond the border with darkness. Is the person an angel?

Looks like you had great weather for your hike!

Just wondering, when can we expect more?!

Yes, more please! I for one would like to see a photo of a lizard - I guess a newt would do, as long as it is a close-up and you can see the flecks of water on its translucent skin. Or more pics of your wife - heavens, she is beautiful. Or of Jules. She is attractive too. But not of Timothy. The one I have of him is enough.

I think it is great that you take pictures on your hikes. I am sure that you share them with your hiking companions. right?
