I guess this is becoming more of a photo blog. I've had several other thoughts about many things this week, so I might post some non-photo items sometime soon. We'll see.
I took some photos this week for my brother, James. This is one of his guitars.

yawn. narrow depth of field; oblique lighting; off-axis pov; not very novel all in all. would make a nice shot of a big mac or a prawn for rachel ray...Is this bass edible?
why don't you try something interesting like high dynamic range imaging? or better yet, give us some interesting lighting with some OLED's and maybe flames coming off of fingers with some motion blur...
