Friday's Featured Foto

This was a church in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Actually, it still is a church.

Hi Phil nice to meet you, my name is Olympiada. Nice photo. Did you take it? I also am a photographer.

Anonymous, I have been very fortunate with the sweet gigs I've pulled down. I'm very grateful for the opportunities I've had.

Olympiada, Thanks for the comment. I did take the photo, last year I believe. It's on my list to get an enlargement made.

when I look at that hat you are wearing I wonder if people who hire you see what you look like first, or if you send an agent. I mean, do you ever get repeat gigs once people meet you?

anonymous,

Yes.

My dazzling personality, quick wit, and friendly attitude in the face of numerous personal attacks win over any pre-conceived notions regarding my hat.

You sound like you need a friend. I'll see you tomorrow.

Ass.

dude, I don't see how you can keep the whole thing going with that bad attitude. Let's keep this a family show. Pop a 'lude and chill, Fey Lee Pey. All I'm sayin is two things: the hack who took the photo of you in the hat missed the horizon line and didn't frame the shot for crap; and now you are using it without attribution, which from your archival posts is clearly important to you as a photographer (or did you take it yourself with timer and rock?)

Thanks Lupmo, for the stellar defense. This anonymous guy just snuck in here uninvited. And you're right anonymous. It's not the best picture in the world. I was at the Grand Canyon in that shot, but the only thing grand you can see is my countenance. Alas, that's the curse of good photographers...they never have good photos of themselves, because they usually have to rely on someone else of lesser skills taking them.
